D Aguiliar Biosphere Project
The D'Aguilar Biosphere is a project sponsored by Qld. Parks & Wildlife Service, BCC, MBRC, University of Queensland, Mt Nebo & Mt Glorious Environment Protection Association Inc., SEQ Water, SEQ Catchments etc.
The objective is to achieve State & Federal Government endorsement, prior to ratification by UNESCO. It is a voluntry environmental planning and protection instrument intended to guide protection of the natural evironment within the Buffer and Transition Zones surrounding the D'Aguilar Range National Park and Brisbane Forrest Parks.

2007 the BRA Shared Habitat sub-committee successfully lobbied the Biosphere Steering Committee to include Bunyaville Conservation Park and the Bunya Locality within the D'Aguilar Biosphere.
This will significantly assist our SEQRP review submission requesting the removal of the Urban Footprint from this area which is a State Bioregional Corridor.

Weed Identification Database,/
Brisbane City Council provides residents with this very helpful tool. The database has photos of each weed, description, propagation characteristics and erradication methods.

Wildlife Queensland
Wildlife Queensland's North West Brisbane branch meets at the Environmental Education Centre Bunyaville Conservation Park. The many branches are actively involed in regeneration of significatnt environmental areas, particularly water courses. They also have experts who provide information talks.

Kumbartcho Sanctuary & Community Nursery
Operated by the Bunya Community Association Inc,
in conjunction with PRSC; this is a great resource for native plants and habitat advice.

Koalas - Saving Injured Or Sick Koalas
There are two Koala care groups in Pine Rivers. Both have different perspectives. This group is associated with Australia Zoo Hospital which has an expanded koala facitity jointly funded by our Council.
This group also has a Gum Tree revegitation program.

Mountains To Mangroves
The natural eco corridore from Brisbane Forrest Park to Boondall Wetlands.

Rural Environment Planning Association Inc.
REPA Inc is a community-based planning association which has been active in the Brookfield-Pullenvale-Moggill area, and adjoining rural suburbs, since 1973. The Association aims to contribute positively to the planning process in ways which will preserve the rural amenity of the district.

Brisbane Western Western Bypass Action Group
This is a sub-committee formed by REPA to monitor and lobby govt. in relation to plans for the Western Bypass road route.
